| Abstract Note | The purpose of this article is to link two Special Issues of the Australasian Journal of Water Resources – this Issue on Improved Water Planning and another in preparation on Review of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan 2026: An opportunity to reconsider the management of the Murray–Darling Basin. The two Special Issues have a number of common threads which are discussed, namely: integration between water policy and other major policy areas; accounting for climate change; decision-making processes; and Indigenous involvement. |
